The President of Arak University of Medical Sciences announced that the name of Arak researcher, Dr. Reza Darvishi, has been included in the list of the world's top scientists based on the Stanford University index. 

According to Webda Markazi, Dr. Seyed Mohammad Jamalian, in a message congratulating Dr. Reza Darvishi, said: "Stafford University reviews and analyzes universities in different countries every year and announces 1% and 2% of scientists. Dr. Darvishi is also one of the scientists in The top 2% has been announced.

 He added: "The list of the top 2% of scientists has been presented by Stanford University researchers by reviewing and evaluating the documentation of the Scopus database data and was published on October 16, 2020 in the journal Plos Biology. He said: 159683 researchers in 22 scientific fields and 176 specialized fields have been classified based on standard citation criteria.
