Nowadays, with development of technology in Health score and increasing availability of systems and software related to medical education and importance of data retention and availability, university's IT management infrastructure  team has started designing and implementing the WAN throughout Markazi province. It is a secure, reliable and broadband network that connects all Health care centers across the province. WAN university is completely independent of national internet and intranet so it has acceptable security and stability and least cyber threat to it. By connecting the university to the WAN of Ministry of Health, it is possible to connect with other provinces as well as the Ministry of Health in a secure and rapid manner to access all electronic services in a field of medical education. Another benefit of this network is the reduction of internet and national internet dependency on using internal systems of university and Ministry of Health, which can save on internet and intranet bandwidth costs.
