Statistics and Information Technology manager of Arak University of Medical Sciences said that collecting, preparing and sending statistics to regulatory centers such as Governor General, Ministry of Health and other centers, and preparing yearbooks of available information at the end of each year are among the tasks of this unit.

According to WebDa Markazi report, engineer Mohsen Azimi added that according to transfer of responsibility for infrastructure and software and hardware to Statistics and Information Technology unit, development of monitoring and support of hospital software and Health sector and preparation of necessary and appropriate infrastructure for technology upgrade and development throughout the province added to the unit's tasks and made it heavier.

He stressed the need to hold many meetings in the form of webinars and video conferencing due to outbreak of the corona virus: After the outbreak of this virus and in order to observe social distance and prevent holding meetings in person and gather people, we quickly prepared the appropriate infrastructure for this work so that in first days of year and even the moment of delivery of the year, the meeting was established with the president and provincial officials.

 

Statistics and Information Technology manager of Arak University of Medical Sciences stated that preparing such infrastructure in this small opportunity, considering the critical situation of the country in those days and of course bad economic situation of the country and University of Medical Sciences, doing so was a very difficult task that the colleagues of this unit tried around the clock and made it possible.

At the end Azimi said that so far, more than 120 video conferencing sessions have been held at different times and places, such as Ministry of Health and Governor General Office, all with help of technology management partners and cooperation of IT experts from other centers and executive bodies.
