Description of the duties of the Faculty Research Council

• Developing the Faculty's strategic plan and research policies
• Preparing, compiling and reviewing various research regulations
• Amending laws and regulations in order to implement incentive policies in order to create motivation and an encouraging environment for faculty members to carry out research activities
• Final approval of research plans of faculty members and research theses of postgraduate students
• Final approval of research priorities proposed by educational groups
• Reviewing and commenting on issues referred by the Research Council or the Vice President for Research
• Providing the basis for the implementation of the University Research Council's approvals and matters notified by the Vice President for Research and his subordinate managements
• Monitoring the correct process of implementing research plans
