Definition and Purpose of Bachelor of Anesthesiology
Bachelor of Anesthesiology Bachelor of Anesthesiology is one of the higher education courses (one of the branches of paramedicine) and its purpose is to train efficient human resources that each of them can work as an assistant to an anesthesiologist under his supervision in a section of the operating room. Due to the expansion and development of the scope of anesthesiology-related sciences, the field of anesthesiology was established with an emphasis on active learning, innovation, acquisition of new information and clinical skills, and patient care in the most desirable way possible.
This course is one of the higher education courses (from the branches of paramedicine) in which students are introduced to the new principles, methods, equipment, and devices used in the care of anesthetic patients in general and specialized surgeries, as well as intensive care units and emergency departments, and learn how to care for patients in different stages of anesthesia theoretically and practically.
Conditions and Method of Admission of Students:
Admission of undergraduate students in anesthesiology is through a national exam and in a centralized manner.
Duration and form of the system: The average length of the bachelor's degree in anesthesiology is 4 years and its educational system is in accordance with the educational regulations of higher education centers approved by the Cultural Revolution Headquarters.
