The Parasitology and Mycology Laboratory consists of two sections:

a) Educational Laboratory
1- Medical Educational Laboratory:
In this laboratory, parasitology images are taught to students using a video projector and educational slides under a microscope, as well as practical activities.
2- Medical Mycology Educational Laboratory:
In this laboratory, mycology images are taught to students using a video projector and educational slides under a microscope, as well as practical activities.
3- Medical Entomology Educational Laboratory:
In this laboratory, entomology images are taught to students using a video projector and educational slides under a microscope, as well as practical activities.
This laboratory is used to train students in the fields of medicine - dentistry - laboratory sciences - nursing - operating room - midwifery - public health - medical emergencies.

b) Research Laboratory
In this section, projects approved by the university's research group and council are carried out.
In total, there are the following educational slides for all disciplines:

Trematodes topic about 20 slides
Nematodes topic about 25 slides
Cestodes topic about 20 slides
Amoebae and intestinal protozoa topic about 15 slides
Trypanosoma family topic about 5 slides
Plasmodium topic about 10 slides
Mycology topic about 55 slides
Entomology topic about 35 slides

For laboratory science students, in addition to the above slides, stool tests are performed using the direct and formalin ether methods. Also, in mycology, soil culture, mold culture, and slide culture are also performed. For students in the field of disease control, insect mounting methods are also taught. In all laboratory sessions, it is possible to view educational slides using a slide projector before the session begins.
