Student Event
Considering the significance of innovation in advancing medical education, the Medical Education and Development Centre (EDC), in collaboration with the Student Committee on Medical Education Development of the University of Medical Sciences of Arak, is pleased to announce the student event "RetARAK: Transformative Education Solutions". This event provides a suitable opportunity for students to present their innovative ideas in medical education-related fields and to contribute to the enhancement of the university's educational processes. The top ideas will be honoured with cash prizes, an official and valid appreciation certificate from the university, and priority for implementation review.
Guide to participating in the event
- Selecting the idea field: Focus your proposed idea in one of the following fields:
- Design and production of educational products and gamification
- Development and revision of educational programs
- Teaching and learning
- Educational management and leadership
- E-learning
- Artificial Intelligence
- Educational evaluation (student, faculty, and program)
- Other...

Preparing the proposal: Download the standard proposal form (in Word format) from the university website and complete it. In this form, cover the following items:
- Detailed description of the educational problem and the necessity of implementing the plan, supported by reliable evidence (such as articles, guidelines, or credible news).
- Explanation of the proposed intervention, implementation method, components of the idea, evaluation method, potential limitations and methods to control them, and references (in Vancouver format).

Submitting the idea: Submit the completed form by the 14th of Abaan 1404 or November 5, 2025, via the submissions page on the portal of the Medical Education and Development Centre (EDC). Participation is possible for individuals (under the supervision of at least one faculty member (Optional)) or as a team (a maximum of three students and one faculty member from Arak University of Medical Sciences). Please note that the email addresses of all colleagues must be entered correctly, and all team members must have access to the registered email during the event period.
- Important notes:
- The committee of judges will evaluate ideas. Five top ideas and ten selected ideas will be chosen. The results will be announced to the participants in Azar 1404, which corresponds to December 2025.
- In the evaluation and review process, special credit will be allocated to teams that include university faculty members.
- Teams composed of both Iranian and international students will be granted special credit.
